Daemons Of The Shadow Realm Episode 1 Review
Top Anime Series in The Making
From the exquisite and visionary mangaka who brought you Fullmetal Alchemist, Hiromu Arakawa returns with a brand-new tale bound to excite fans around the world. Stylized in Arakawa’s artistic signature approach of blending serious moments with humor, there is no doubt Daemons Of The Shadow Realm will become both every fan’s favorite through the years to come and their most heartfelt appreciation of profound storytelling.
Story
Daemons Of The Shadow Realm centers on two siblings separated at a young age. Their names are Yuru and Asa, who are the children who sunder day and night. Intended to rule over supernatural beings called “Deamons,” Yuru and Asa must band together and claim their rightful birthright over these strange and deadly apparitions. Certain humans command mighty supernatural entities that stand in their way. Unaware of the truth of their birth, both must fight to reunite to save the world.
Animation
The animation style of Daemons Of The Shadow Realm, by far, must be one of the most visually riveting and appealing works of art produced in mainstream anime. It’s crafted and designed for viewers to not only appreciate dedication to beautiful artwork, but also an invitation to a world unseen before. The character designs make a distinction between other works of anime that make this story unique in comparison. It stands out on its own as an anime with great potential for more in-depth narrative. As an animation production, Bones Films’ performance for this tale is highly praised.
Music
The musical score of Daemons Of The Shadow Realm signified the level and amount of encapsulation. Without the correct musical inclusion, this story would feel out of place, but it’s perfectly accompanied by quality music that brings it to life.
Verdict
Daemons Of The Shadow Realm is a must-watch. It fails to disappoint in its first premier episode. It’s one of those anime series that you know is going to get even better after the first episode is completed. This one would be considered in that category. Lovers and enthusiasts of anime should be watching episode 1 right this very moment. Be sure to check out this series at Crunchyroll streaming right now!
