Gameboy Advance SP - (pronounced Ga-me b-oy Ad-va-nce S-P) was the next evolutionary stage of the GameBoy Advance that introduced a backlit LCD screen and over fifteen hours of battery life. Armed with a powerful 32-Bit ARM processor and the ability to display over 511 colours at once from a palette of 32,768, the unit could also produce a variety of different special effects that made this console extremely popular to gamers of all ages.
