Summary: If you are on board for these characters already I would consider it, everyone else is going to wonder what the hell is going on. Not so good for the first part of a story.

Battle of the broads

Gwen Stacy aka Ghost Spider who is also the Venom of Earth-65 is fighting off dragons and black good when something else arrives to make her life worse if that is possible. It is already very confusing with Knull and then Mary Jane somehow gets turned into Carnage with some psychic spiders.

The idea of these stories is that they start off simple and then get more complex, this does not give you any time at all, expecting you to already know what is going on with this character and who she is fighting. There have been Ghost Spider stories before but I have not heard about Carnage for a long time.

While the story is confusing the artwork is interesting even if you can’t work out what is going on and there is always something interesting to look at on every page.

Not really sure who to recommend this to or if it is part of a larger continuity. If you are a fan of this character and want to see her going off in a new direction then I would recommend it.
