Title: Dirty Jobs Down Under with Mike Rowe
Rating: PG
Reviewer: James Wright
Running Time: 180Minutes
Genre: TV

The humorous and informative Mike Rowe visits Australia with his latest four-part Dirty Job adventure cleverly entitled Dirty Jobs Down Under. As Mike visits Australia, he looks for some of the dirtiest and most dangerous jobs in our wonderful continent from removing venomous brown snakes from peoples homes to removing the pest in Queensland known as the Cane Toads.

What makes Dirty Jobs Down Under so appealing is of course Mike’s unique sense of humour and his ability to get his hands dirty as he takes the viewer on his amazing journey in Australia that at times feels like a travel show… not that there is anything wrong with that.

Each episode focuses on some of Australia’s strangest jobs such as miners risk their lives to make it rich to researchers in the Adelaide River attempting to capture the deadly salt water crocodiles, all in the name of research. Add in a wealth of colourful characters and Mike successfully creates a compelling TV series that will have you glued to your screen.

Laden with fun and facts, Dirty Jobs Down Under is what edutainment is all about, education and entertainment. Unfortunately Dirty Jobs Down Under was part of the eighth season of Dirty Jobs which was cancelled and the final four episodes was renamed to Dirty Jobs Down Under. Nonetheless Mike, you’ve given us some great TV and this is TV at its cheesiest best!
