THE ORIGINAL SPACETEMBER IS BACK AT IMAX MELBOURNE! ⭐
Returning for its 6th year, IMAX Melbourne’s beloved SPACETEMBER film festival is back on the giant screen. Visitors can expect a cinematic voyage across the galaxy with a range of epic IMAX films on the largest screen in the Southern Hemisphere.
2025’s festival headliner is Christopher Nolan’s seminal INTERSTELLAR, presented exclusively on IMAX 1570 Film. With over 2,600 tickets selling out in under 5 minutes for the Best Biggest IMAX Film Festival earlier this year, over 57,000 movie-goers have experienced this masterpiece at IMAX Melbourne since the film’s release in 2014.
Further highlights of the festival include DUNE – DOUBLE FEATURE and NOPE with both films featuring sequences that fill IMAX Melbourne’s entire seven-storey screen.

Tickets for SPACETEMBER are on sale Friday August 8 at 1pm for IMAX’s Big League Members and 2pm for everyone else. Tickets are available from imaxmelbourne.com.au.
