Samsung Galaxy TabPro S strikes balance between work and play with Windows 10 and Galaxy experience

SYDNEY, Australia – April 1 2016 – Samsung Electronics Australia has today announced the availability of the Galaxy TabPro S, which combines Samsung’s latest mobile technology with the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system together in a beautifully crafted 2-in-1 tablet format. The Galaxy TabPro S gives Australians access to laptop PC functionality in a sleek and stylish design.
The Galaxy TabPro S balances the best of the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem experience with the wealth of features that are delivered through the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. From a Super AMOLED display, engineered to deliver a richer and defined viewing, to a long lasting and ultra-fast charging battery, the device follows the pedigree Australians are accustomed to when using a Samsung Galaxy product.

Available from today as a Wi-Fi variant, the TabPro S range will also include a 4G capable variant, to be launched in the near future, which will feature Cat 6 LTE optimised for Australian carrier networks.

Productivity in a Slim, Sleek Design
The Galaxy TabPro S delivers PC functionality with both Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro models available, offering access to all the features and functionality of the Windows 10 operating system.
At 6.3 millimeters thin and weighing only 693 grams, Galaxy TabPro S is designed to be the perfect companion whilst on-the-go. A full-sized keyboard cover is included with the device, featuring a flexible hinge which enables a dual-angle viewing experience, and a Pogo pin that eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately. The keyboard’s touchpad emulates that of a PC to provide easy control, even when used in Stand Mode.
Powerful Performance
The Galaxy TabPro S uses Samsung’s advanced technology to maximise performance and power efficiency. With enhanced fast charging features, Galaxy TabPro S’s battery can fully charge in as little as 2.5 hours, and offers up to 10.5 hours of battery life*. For power-driven performance, Galaxy TabPro S is equipped with the latest generation Intel Core M processor, featuring only 4.5W of power consumption enabling long battery life.
To enhance productivity, a multi-port adapter (HDMI, USB Type A & C) and Bluetooth Pen will be available for purchase separately in the near future.

Delivering the very first Super AMOLED display for Windows to the Australian market, the multi-touch screen serves brighter colours for an exceptional viewing experience. Extend the Galaxy Ecosystem with Samsung Flow
As an extension to the Galaxy Ecosystem, Samsung Flow lets your Galaxy S7 and Galaxy TabPro S work better together, making it easier to switch between devices seamlessly. Users can log in securely using the Galaxy S7 fingerprint reader and via Near Field Connectivity (NFC), and choose to receive and reply directly to notifications from compatible applications through the Galaxy TabPro S.
