Vikings star Clive Standen descends on Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide
Attention all warriors and shieldmaidens: British heart-throb Clive Standen, star of hit series Vikings is returning to Oz Comic-Con this April.
With the heavily anticipated fourth season of Vikings making its debut last week, Standen’s appearance at Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide will be the perfect chance for fans to have all of their burning Vikings questions answered straight from the Norse’s mouth.
Portraying Rollo, the brother of fierce warrior and Norse king Ragnar, Standen’s role is set to be a firm focus of the latest series as the tension between the brothers comes to a head. The Hollywood Reporter also announced this week that Standen will star in NBC’s Taken prequel series portraying a young Liam Neeson, so Bryan Mills fans take note!
Standen will be taking part in professional photograph and autograph opportunities across the weekend, as well as a Q&A panel on each day of the show. A limited number of places are also available at an exclusive dinner with Standen on the Saturday night of each show, so those interested should act now to avoid disappointment.
Standen joins the rapidly growing guest list for the first events of Oz Comic-Con’s 2016 calendar. Guests previously announced include Lucy Lawless and Hudson Leick (Xena), Jim Beaver (Supernatural), Liam Garrigan and Christie Laing (Once Upon A Time). Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide will also feature local and international comic guests, state finals for the Australian Championships of Cosplay, as well as a wide range of family-friendly features for fans of all ages and interests.
Oz Comic-Con will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 2-3 and at the Adelaide Showgrounds on April 9-10, followed by events in Melbourne (June 11-12), Sydney (September 10-11) and Brisbane (September 17-18).
