Hisense ANZ confirms ConnectLife smart home ecosystem for 2023 home appliance range

In line with CES® 2023, Hisense ANZ today announces the extension of its smart home ecosystem, ConnectLife, across its full home appliance range for 2023, giving more Aussies the chance to embrace the benefits of smart home technology.

With more than two thirds of Australian households featuring at least one smart home device in 2022 – 20 per cent growth since the beginning of the year1 – Hisense has already seen significant success with ConnectLife app compatibility for its current air-conditioning range. This integration already conveniently enables Australians to control the heating and cooling of their home with the simple tap of their smartphone using the ConnectLife app.

The addition of the ConnectLife app to the wider Hisense home appliance portfolio marks a significant step in Hisense’s commitment to delivering consumers nationwide the opportunity to create a seamless smart home.

With new whitegoods models set to launch throughout 2023, customers will soon be able to monitor and control their full Hisense family of products in one place, via the ConnectLife app – delivering greater convenience and connectivity across multiple rooms of the home.

Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing Hisense ANZ said, “Australians nationwide are consistently feeling the pressure of their day-to-day household responsibilities. So, to be able to alleviate some of that burden through Hisense’s attainable, connected product range will surprise and delight. Before, a smart home was considered beyond reach, but we are committed to delivering greater convenience to Australians that allows them to buy back the precious time they need to do the things they love.”

Easing the burden of everyday tasks with smarter living
Acknowledging Australians are increasingly time poor and looking for ways to create efficiencies in the home, Hisense is set to announce a range of new features throughout the year that make everyday tasks easier, including Holiday Mode. Enabling this feature will allow users – once they’ve cleared perishables out of the fridge – to save energy by powering the fridge section down to standby mode at the click of a button, while maintaining freezer function.

Having been integral features of Hisense’s refrigeration range for some time, Hisense’s Super Cool or Super Freeze modes will also be available to activate directly through the ConnectLife app. Both provide the perfect preparation for summer entertaining – now conveniently controlled from the palm of your hand. The Super Cool and Super Freeze modes give customers the flexibility to quickly drop the temperature of their fridge or freezer for six hours, swiftly chilling drinks ahead of a party, for example.

“Our brand ethos is to create home appliances that are not only convenient, but also attainable, and we’re thrilled to bring new features to the ConnectLife experience to ensure Australians can do more with their home, at the touch of the button. Whether it’s making the switch to be more energy efficient when they’re not in the home or ensuring they can manage everyday tasks effortlessly – ConnectLife brings control of your home into the palm of your hand.”

Hisense Australia will announce the introduction of specific home appliance products throughout 2023, with the ConnectLife app available on both Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

Further information on Hisense’s full ConnectLife app compatibility will be shared soon. To keep across the latest CES news from Hisense Australia, visit: https://ces2023.hisense.com.au/.
