Google Australia brings Gemini to students for free
Today, Google Australia has announced a new offer to help students study smarter as they prepare for exam season.
The offer includes a FREE one-year subscription to Gemini Pro for students (18+) in Australia, to help students make the most of Google AI’s power for their studies.
What’s new:

Exam prep tools to streamline study: Simply ask Gemini to instantly create flashcards and study guides based on your quiz results, or other class materials.

Guided learning for complex concepts: Guided Learning mode breaks down problems step-by-step, and adapts explanations to your needs to help you uncover the “how” and “why” behind concepts.

Even more content for the visual learner: When you ask about complex topics like the process of photosynthesis or the parts of a cell, Gemini will now automatically integrate high-quality images, diagrams and YouTube videos directly into responses.
In addition to these new features, the Google AI Pro account upgrade includes a full suite of Google’s most advanced AI tools, designed for learning, like NotebookLM, Veo 3, Jules, expanded access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, and Deep Research.
