The PAX Australia 2025 schedule is packed with headline guests, panels and unforgettable moments across nine theatres all weekend long. Fans can now download the official PAX Schedule App (https://aus.paxsite.com/en-us/connect/app.html) to start planning their ultimate Melbourne PAX Aus adventure.

From blockbuster reveals to intimate fireside chats, here are just a few of the highlights taking centre stage at PAX Aus this October:

Here’s just a taste of the headline moments taking over the Main and Quokka Theatres:

  • Friday begins with Storytime with Gavin Verhey, Principal Designer for Magic: The Gathering, followed by a live, audience-driven Elder Scrolls Online adventure with Game Director Rich Lambert, and the night wraps with Penny Arcade’s legendary Acquisitions Incorporated. Over in the Quokka Theatre, highlights include a fireside chat with Rainbow Six Siege Game Director Joshua Mills, an esports panel with Intel and Back Pocket’s PAX Prime Time hosted with Amelia Tyler and Diana Fae.
  • Saturday features a fireside chat with Baldur’s Gate 3’s BAFTA-nominated Narrator, Amelia Tyler, plus insights from Obsidian and Eidos Montréal on Grounded 2. Borderlands fans can dive into Borderlands 4 with Randy Pitchford at the Gearbox Main Theatre Show, while John Robertson’s cult comedy hit The Dark Room brings chaotic late-night laughs. The Quokka Theatre welcomes comedian, writer and game voice actor Ify Nwadiwe for a fireside chat, alongside Sim it and See: Your Ultimate Sims Panel, celebrating 25 years of cowplants, pool ladders and Simlish fun.
  • Sunday brings Year of Obsidian with Mikey Dowling and a worldbuilding masterclass from Josh Sawyer and Lis Moberly (20th Century Games). The Cosplay Central Crown Championship returns, with the winner heading to the UK finals, before the weekend closes with the always-epic Omegathon Final Round. Meanwhile, the Quokka Theatre hosts Let’s Explore Everything VTubing presented by Vershion & MSI and a fireside chat with Luke Dale, star of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and rising Twitch powerhouse.

With nine theatres running all weekend, there’s something for every gamer, creator and fan.

The full program is now live on the PAX Aus 2025 Schedule App and you can also see it here: https://aus.paxsite.com/en-us/features/panels.html. Check it out and start planning your weekend!
