SAVE YOUR LEGS! is an uplifting story from the heart of Australia to the soul of India, where a group of men take a shot at international sporting glory and find themselves facing the hardest challenge of them all – mateship.

Edward (Teddy) Brown is obsessed with cricket. His whole life revolves around the game and his Abbotsford Anglers teammates. But now that they’ve hit their mid-thirties, his friends are starting to move on, trading in the team for their careers, wives, mortgages and kids. With one last, desperate attempt to keep his mates’ passion for the pitch alive, Teddy convinces his boss Sanjeet to let the Anglers represent Australia on a cricket tour of India.

Once there, Teddy discovers that his dreams of winning an international cricket tour might be harder than he thinks, as his two best friends are more interested in sampling the local customs than they are with picking up a bat. Throw in a bit of local team tension, hallucinogenic smoothies, Delhi belly and a dry cleaning disaster, and Teddy’s grip on all he holds dear begins to fall apart. Soon his passion for the game threatens to cost him not only his teammates, but also a chance at the heart of Sanjeet’s beautiful daughter, Anjali.

NINTENDO ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE WORLDWIDE PARTNERSHIP WITH SEGA FOR UPCOMING SONIC THE HEDGEHOG GAMES

18th May 2013 – The next game in SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog series will be exclusive to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, with Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announcing details of a worldwide partnership with SEGA during a new Nintendo Direct video announcement today. Sonic: Lost World is a new action-adventure platforming game, and more information about it will be announced before the E3 2013 video game trade show begins on 11th June.
The Nintendo Direct also announced a new addition to the Mario & Sonic series, the first appearance for the series on Wii U, as well as revealing launch dates for Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 and New Super Luigi U.

Today’s Wii U announcements included:

  • A new game in the Mario & Sonic series: The game includes a variety of sports including curling, skiing, snowboarding, figure skating pairs and snowboard slopestyle. Different events might use the Wii Remote Plus controller, Wii U GamePad or both. In addition to realistic events, the game also includes those set in the worlds of Sonic and Mario that let players perform moves not possible in real life. Launch details and timing will be announced at a later date.
  • New Super Luigi U: The Year of Luigi-themed downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros. U offers players 82 updated courses. But it also includes a new playable character in multiplayer mode: Nabbit, the thief who steals items from Toad Houses. New Super Luigi U will be released as downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros. U on Nintendo eShop on 21st June. But in honour of the Year of Luigi, Nintendo is also offering a standalone packaged version of New Super Luigi U that doesn’t require New Super Mario Bros. U, due for release on 27th July, at a suggested retail price of $59.95.
  • The Wonderful 101: The superhero action adventure from Platinum Games launches on 24th August. More details about the game will be released gradually between now and launch.
  • Pikmin 3: New playable characters Alph, Brittany and Charlie are to take over from Olimar, the main character who appeared in previous Pikmin games. Another announcement is the use of the GamePad (known as the KopPad in the game), where players can view the overall map and grasp what each character and Pikmin are up to. Pikmin 3 is coming to Australia and New Zealand  on July 27th.
  • Game & Wario: The game launches across Australia and New Zealand on 29th June, and includes 16 games that use the GamePad in different ways. Newly revealed games include: ISLANDS, which lets two to five people launch little creatures called Fronks onto islands in the sea to score points; PATCHWORK, a puzzle game that tests players’ pattern-recognition skills; and KUNG-FU, which challenges players to help Young Cricket navigate a course safely using the forward-looking view on the TV and the top-down view on the GamePad.   • RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS: Capcom’s survival horror game is launching in stores and on Nintendo eShop on 23rd May. The game originally released for Nintendo 3DS, and the Wii U version offers players updated HD graphics, GamePad controls and new game content. The game is Miiverse-compatible, and a demo version is currently available on Nintendo eShop.

A separate Nintendo Direct sharing further news on future Wii U content will be aired around the time of E3.

Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Uprising DLC Map Pack Available Now on PlayStation®3 and Windows PC

Today, PlayStation®3 and Windows PC players have access to Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Uprising, Activision and Treyarch’s latest DLC Map Pack for the record-breaking Call of Duty®: Black Ops II. Uprising includes four new multiplayer maps, plus “Mob of the Dead,” a bone-chilling new Zombies experience that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz, where four of Hollywood’s most iconic mobster actors, including Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, and Joe Pantoliano, lend their talents to the game to bring this horrifying adventure to life.

Following the tradition of the original Call of Duty®: Black Ops fan-favourite Zombies mode “Call of the Dead,” Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising’s wildly creative new “Mob of the Dead” Zombies experience puts players in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome (Liotta), Al “The Weasel” Arlington (Pantoliano), Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca (Palminteri), and Michael “Finn” O’Leary (Madsen).   • Studio – A contemporary re-imagining of “Firing Range,” the fan-favorite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.  “Studio” is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.

Fans can purchase Uprising as a standalone Map Pack for a suggested retail price of $20.95. Call of Duty: Black Ops II game sold separately, and is required to play this Map Pack.

Sydney, May 17th 2013- Tecmo Koei Europe announced today three new characters that will don the light blue colours of the Jin Kingdom in the upcoming 8th instalment of fan favourite Dynasty Warriors series, slated for release on the 12th of July 2013 on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

The new additions to the Jin Kingdom are Zhang Chunhua, Wen Yang and Jia Chong.

A cultured, well-educated and wise woman and mother to two fierce warriors, Sima Shi and Sima Zhao, Zhang Chunhua is known for always facing life with a smile as well as for her fierce personality.

Wen Yang is a tall, young warrior, very calm and exceedingly brave, who takes up arms to assist his father. He charges into battle head on and refuses to get side-tracked, a trait that can be both helpful (as he ignores tricks and traps) and dangerous.

The final addition to Jin is the cold, calculative strategist, Jia Chong; a fearless man of great political skill, dedicated to abolish the old order and establish a man of ability to the emperor’s throne.  

Additionally, Tecmo Koei Europe revealed special bonuses fans can receive by pre-ordering Dynasty Warriors 8 from Aussie retailers.

By pre-ordering at either EB Games or JB Hi-fi, fans will receive a beautiful, limited edition smartphone pouch, otherwise unavailable outside Japan, in one of four exclusive designs. Each design features a different character and colour, representing the four kingdoms.
