Said BenQ Australia’s Managing Director, Martin Moelle, “It’s Full HD and visually spectacular, putting cinema quality video in the hands of any novice with no installation and no set-up hassles. It requires only to place the projector on a table, direct it at a suitable wall, adjust the image effortlessly with the vertical lens shift for your preferred image size and ‘hey presto’,” he said.

When it comes to 3D entertainment, the W1500 supports popular 3D timing and HDMI 1.4a mandatory 3D, allowing viewing of 3D content directly from Blu-ray players or satellite. You can also play 3D games with the PS3. It is also NVIDIA 3DTV-supported to display 3D content via PC powered by NVIDIA chip, such as games, apps, videos, photos, 3DVisionLive.com and Blu-ray 3D. Said Moelle, “The W1500 delivers colours so real that it reflects what the human eye perceives with a native Rec 709 colour gamut and is ISFccc®-certified for professional calibration customisation services. In short, what this means is that the W1500 is modelled on one of the highest HD video standards seen in professional-grade home projectors today.
