View Melbourne launches Melbourne’s first hotel gaming room @ViewHotels

According to research coming out of Bond University, 81% of Australians now play video games. Indeed, more Australians play video games than watch the footy!

With the gaming sector’s meteoric rise into everyday life, View Melbourne, in collaboration with MSI, is excited to announce the opening of Melbourne’s first specially designed Gaming Room with state-of-the-art equipment that will be the place to be for anyone who loves to unwind gaming.

Sleeping up to four guests, the View Melbourne Gaming Room includes bottomless complimentary popcorn from the in-room popcorn maker, a drinks trolley, complete with a selection of energy drinks, as well as a minibar with beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks and all items charged on consumption upon check-out.

The 35 sqm specially designed Gaming Room includes a high-quality gaming setup with MSI chair, MSI MEG Trident X2 computer, 2 x 27 inch 170Hz MSI Esports gaming monitors, and all the streaming gear you need supplied by MSI and Elgato.

At opening time games include all major titles across both PC and Nintendo Switch. The games selection will be updated continuously as new titles come to market.

PC games include: Fortnite, League of Legends, Starfield Premium Edition, FC24, Mortal Kombat 1, GTA V, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Valorant, Destiny 2, DOTA 2, Apex Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Defensive, Call of Duty: Warzone, Rocket League, Hogwarts Legacy: Deluxe Edition, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Overwatch 2, Sims 4 Deluxe Upgrade, Untitled Goose Game, EVE Online, Ark Survival Evolved, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Ultimate Chicken Horse and Cult of the Lambs.

Nintendo Switch games include: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros.
