TOTEM from Cirque du Soleil opens in front of star-studded crowd this week- new shows on sale tomorrow extending the Melbourne season until March 29!
On Wednesday evening, Cirque du Soleil celebrated its return to Melbourne with the Opening Night of its new mesmerising production TOTEM, currently performing under the trademark blue-and-yellow big top at Flemington Racecourse.
To mark the event, a stellar line-up of VIP guests walked the red carpet prior to being treated to the intimacy and beauty of TOTEM including Premier Daniel Andrews, Kerry Armstrong, Shaynna Blaze, Liz Cambage, Travis Cloke, Cathy Freeman, Lauren Newton and Peter Siddle.
Following exceptionally strong ticket sales, Cirque du Soleil is adding two new weeks of performances to the Melbourne season of TOTEM, extending the season to March 29, 2015. Tickets for these new and final performances will be on sale at 9am tomorrow, January 24 2015, at www.cirquedusoleil.com/totem.
