THIS THURSDAY! Celebrate the Uncharted series at Insert Coin(s) in Sydney on November 5 – discount tickets on sale now
Sydney, Australia – November 2, 2015 – Sony Computer Entertainment Australia in conjunction with Reboot PR and Oxford Art Factory are thrilled to announce Insert Coin(s) will host an introduction to 2016’s most anticipated PlayStation 4 title, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End sees Nathan Drake return to take players on a journey around the globe, through jungle isles, urban cities and snow-capped peaks on the search for Avery’s fortune. Every treasure has its price.
In a first for Insert Coin(s), the evening will begin with a VIP-only trivia competition hosted by Naughty Dog’s very own Community Strategist Arne Meyer, and local legends Andrew Levins and Angus Truskett from the Hey Fam! Podcast, GoodGod and Heaps Decent fame.
Doors to ticket-holding pubic will open at 7:30pm – and there will be plenty of surprises in store.
Discounted tickets are on sale now through Ticket Squad, with PlayStation Australia giving away VIP tickets through their Facebook and Twitter social media channels. On the night fans are invited to dress in their best Uncharted cosplay for the chance to win more great prizes, including PlayStation 4 1tb consoles and copies of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
Doors open to the general public at 7:30 pm with the night expected to deliver all kinds of Uncharted-themed excellence. In addition to this, Insert Coin(s)’ wide selection of ’80s arcade goodness including standing units, pinball machines and tabletop games will be available.
About Insert Coin(s)
The Insert Coin(s) event series pays tribute to old school arcades, bringing together games, music and geek culture and fashion in a venue that is already known for setting the trends in these spaces. Attendees pay just $15 at the door or via Moshtix for a night of retro gaming (tabletop, pinball and standing arcade units) and the latest gaming titles.
In addition to free candy, Woofy’s hot dog cart will also serve grass-fed Angus beef hotdogs with all kinds of toppings. Themed cocktails will also be available to celebrate the occasion – but get in quick!
As arcades become a rarity, nights like Insert Coin(s) give a new generation a taste of yesteryear – but with the edge of ‘cool’ that patrons have come to expect from the team at Oxford Art Factory. Doors open at 7:30pm.
