St Petersburg Ballet adds two additional shows to the Melbourne season of Swan Lake
In response to the extraordinary demand for tickets the internationally acclaimed St Petersburg Ballet has added an extra two shows to their Melbourne season of Swan Lake. The short season will now run from Friday June 19 to Monday June 22, 2015.
Tickets for the TWO ADDITIONAL shows on Friday 19 June at 7.30pm and Sunday 21 June at 12noon will go on sale at 9am tomorrow, Friday April 17, though Ticketmaster.
The upcoming season of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake marks the first time The St Petersburg Ballet will perform in Melbourne, making this a rare opportunity for local audiences to experience a full-length, classic production of the world’s most loved ballet.
The St Petersburg Ballet recently completed a triumphant, sold out season in Paris playing at the prestigious Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. Renowned UK dance critic Jeffrey Taylor said, “Swan Lake sweeps you away into a world of passion… The company shines”.
