Sing-A-Long to Disney’s Frozen‏ – Media Release

ALL-NEW SING-ALONG VERSION OF DISNEY’S “FROZEN” HITS SELECT CINEMAS

“Frozen” audiences are invited to join the act—literally—as select cinemas nationwide introduce an all-new sing-along version of Disney’s Oscar®-nominated, Golden Globe® and BAFTA winning big-screen adventure beginning in WA March 1-3 and in all other states March 8-10, 2014.

Moviegoers will experience on-screen lyrics and a magical bouncing snowflake and can check local listings for session times and cinemas. The duration of the sing-along run will vary by cinema.

Disney’s “FROZEN” has been in wide release across Australia since December 26 and achieved the highest grossing opening weekend ever for a Walt Disney Studios Animation film and has currently earned over AU$34M. This makes it the fifth biggest animation release of all time (industry wide) in Australia. “Frozen,” WDAS’ 53rd feature film, has earned over US$950M worldwide, including US$377 million in the U.S.

In the US, “Frozen” is the longest running #1 Film Soundtrack since 2003 and has sold over 1 million albums worldwide and 3.4 million tracks.

In Australia, the soundtrack peaked at #1 on the iTunes and Digital ARIA Album chart, and #2 on the overall ARIA Album chart, and still comfortably sits within the top ten almost 3 months since its original release.
