Sam Smith (UK) announces Australia’s Meg Mac as special guest on GLORIA the tour Australia & New Zealand 2023

Frontier Touring and Sam Smith are thrilled to announce Sydney-born revered singer-songwriter Meg Mac as special guest on GLORIA the tour Australia and New Zealand this October and November.

Meg Mac joins Sam Smith on their long-awaited tour, kicking off at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide on Saturday 28 October before heading to Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne for two shows on Tuesday 31 October and Wednesday 1 November, then Sydney for two shows at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney on Friday 3 November and Saturday 4 November, before Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane on Wednesday 8 November followed by a final stop at Spark Arena, Auckland on Saturday 11 November.

Meg Mac’s whirlwind career began back in 2014 when, aged 23, she’d been shot into the spotlight by winning triple j’s ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’ title. ​ Debut 2017 album Low Blows reached #2 on the ARIA Albums chart and, by the time of 2019 follow-up LP Hope, the singer had racked up a bunch of ARIA nominations, a track feature on HBO’s ‘Girls’ and a US tour supporting D’Angelo, which she still today describes as a “life highlight”.
