Rose is Coming to Perth and Adelaide – Billie Piper to Attend Oz Comic-Con
Whovians rejoice! Fan favourite Doctor Who companion Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) is attending Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide this April.
Before taking on the role of Rose, Piper began her career in the music industry, with numerous number one singles and successful albums. In 2005, she transitioned to acting, playing the first companion in the rebooted Doctor Who alongside the Ninth Doctor, portrayed by Christopher Eccleston. Piper held the role of fan-favourite companion Rose Tyler for two seasons, before returning for numerous special appearances, including in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor. After leaving Doctor Who, Piper starred in hit series Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Penny Dreadful.
Fans attending Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide will be able to take part in professional photograph and autograph opportunities with Piper, as well as attend exclusive question and answer panels with Piper.
Other guests set to attend Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide include Nicholas Brendon and Emma Caulfield (Buffy), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason), Kevin Sorbo and Michael Hurst (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) and Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy).
Oz Comic-Con will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 11-12 and at the Adelaide Showgrounds on April 18-19 and will feature a wide range of fun activities for attendees to enjoy, as well as a variety of film, television, voice actor and comic book guests.
