NECTAR WOODE ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL AUSTRALIAN TOUR
Secret Sounds has today announced that rising UK artist Nectar Woode is set to embark on her first ever Australian dates, bringing her soulful, jazz-flecked tour to fans in Sydney and Melbourne this August. Known for her magnetic blend of neo-soul, folk, jazz, gospel and diaristic songwriting, Woode has quickly emerged as one of the UK’s most compelling new voices.
The tour will commence at Sydney’s The Vanguard on Thursday 20 August before heading to Melbourne’s The Toff on Friday 21 August.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 16 June at 10am AEST.
A Secret Sounds presale will commence on Monday 15 June at 10am, running until Tuesday 16 June at 9am AEST.

The announcement follows a standout period for Woode, including her viral breakthrough Good Vibrations, which has amassed over 11 million streams, a sold-out London headline show at Moth Club, support slots with Leon Bridges and NAO, and recognition as a BBC Radio 1 Track of the Week. On last year’s EP it’s like I never left, she explored identity, heritage and home, inspired in part by her first trip to Ghana in early 2025. The project featured collaborations with Jordan Rakei and Ghanaian collective SuperJazzClub, deepening her already rich blend of soul, jazz and afro-futurist textures.
Most recently, Woode teamed up with Elton John on the poignant ballad Wine into Water, the final teaser from her forthcoming Naturally mixtape, out on June 26. Elton John lends his magical touch to this emotionally rich gem, further underlining his longstanding support for Nectar Woode, whom he recently spotlighted at this year’s 71st Ivor Novello Awards. Having previously likened her to soul powerhouse Nina Simone on his Apple Music show, Rocket Hour, the collaboration builds on an ongoing musical exchange between the two, and highlights Elton’s continued championing of the scene’s most exceptional rising talent.
The release follows a sold-out headline show at Jazz Café, which saw Nectar perform the single to a captivated audience. Having also commanded stages across Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin, she’s now gearing up to take on her biggest show to date at London’s iconic KOKO as part of her ‘Naturally’ UK tour.
Adding to an already stand-out year for the rising star, from joining Olivia Dean for a special BRITs Week performance to selling out Jazz Café in just three days, Nectar continues to draw listeners into her unique world of uplifting soul, gaining a growing fanbase of music-lovers and industry icons alike.
