PS5: Transferring PS4 Saves to PS5
As the PS5 is backward compatible with the PlayStation 4, this means that you can access your back catalogue of games, including your saved games.
There are three ways you can move your save data over to the PS5 that includes through your own network through Wi-Fi or Ethernet (see video below), uploading your save data to the cloud (A valid PlayStation Plus membership is required) and downloading directly to an external USB 3.0 storage device. However just be aware that some save data may not work as stipulated by Sony, noting that this is at the developers discretion.
