Play for Australia: Gaming fans receive the ultimate Aussie upgrade to their Xbox experience through Microsoft Store
To celebrate Australia Day on Tuesday 26 January, a select number of gaming fans who visit the Microsoft Flagship Store in Sydney will receive the ultimate Australian upgrade to their Xbox experience.
Only available through the Microsoft Store at Westfield Sydney on Pitt Street, the first customers who bring in their Xbox One controller on the public holiday will receive a complimentary, limited edition re-skin of their controller inspired by the famous design of the Australian flag.
The specially designed Australian skins will be limited so gaming fans across Sydney are advised to get in early. The offer will be available in the store between 10.00am and 5.00pm.
A number of special experiences and giveaways will be available through the Microsoft Flagship Store on Australia Day including in-store battles in the Xbox Experience zone on Guitar Hero: Live. Customers who play have the opportunity to win a limited edition Australia-themed Xbox One console worth over $499RRP.
The Microsoft Flagship Store opened in November 2015. The two story, cutting-edge space features an assortment of best-in-class products and services including the latest technologies from Microsoft and its partners, a dedicated Xbox Experience zone for people to get hands-on with all the latest games and accessories for Xbox One, the Answer Desk – a one-stop shop for technical questions, troubleshooting and repairs for Microsoft hardware, software and services – regardless of device or where it was purchased – and the unique community theatre where members of the community can immerse themselves in new technology, learn and engage with experts.
