PES 2015: Data Pack 2 dated

Konami Digital Entertainment, B.V. has announced the content of its free ‘Data Pack 2’ download for PES 2015 users, revealing it will add four new teams, 73 new player faces and four new stadia to the game while also adding a huge number of key advances to the popular myClub element.

As part of KONAMI’s commitment to continually enhance PES 2015, winner of countless awards including ‘Best Sports Game’ at gamescom and Paris Games Week, the free download will be automatically implemented on December 16th. With PES 2015 exclusively featuring the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions, players will be able to access official recreations of FC Basel 1893, Besiktas, FC Bate Borisov and NK Maribor, all of whom are featuring in this year’s tournaments. All four teams will be fully licensed in the game, including correct kits, team rosters and iconography.

PES 2015 has already won huge acclaim for its incredible player likenesses, and the new update adds 73 new player faces to the game. These cover key players from all over the globe, including renowned stars such as José Callejón, Aaron Ramsey, Karim Bellarabi and Gerard Deulofeu, and upcoming stars such as England left-back Luke Shaw, Spanish star Iker Muniain and Portugal’s Rúben Neves, all of whom are focal to the continuation of the PES 2015 Mantra: ‘The Pitch is Ours.’ All 73 updated players have been selected following community requests from all over the world, and will be joined by ever more additions throughout the year.

Tied into these new likenesses is also the addition of a new element within myClub. myClub allows the user to build a team of world-beaters using a points system that rewards the player for achieving milestones or through good play. These points can be spent on building a new team, and players can also be added via micro-transactions. The 73 enhanced players are ranked within the world’s best established and upcoming stars, and will feature in upcoming myClub events.

The myClub mode has also been further bolstered with Event Competitions, giving users new ways to accumulate points for their team. A new panel will be added to the main menu screen, and Event Competitions will be open for limited times only. Players will be matched online, in one-off or tournaments and a scalable selection of rewards will be given to the winning players. A tournament against CPU-controlled users is also available to all players, with players matched against teams of similar ability as theirs and earning various rewards for successfully winning the tournament.

The second update file also sees KONAMI faithfully recreate four new stadia for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One™, with Estádio do Morumbi, Saitama Stadium, El Monumental and Estádio Mineirão perfectly reproduced, with the latter exclusive to PlayStation®4 and Xbox One™ systems. Other additions to the main game include new boots and balls, with 10 new boots styles showcasing the latest styles from adidas, Umbro and Mizuno, while the adidas Pro Ligue 1 and the Conext 15 Official Match Balls are also added.

Additional kit updates and enhancements include those of the River Plate, Estudiantes de La Plata and the German national side. All player moves have also been finalised, with additional January moves and loans to be constantly updated via PES 2015’s weekly stat updates, which also reflect the form of players and sides within the game on an ongoing basis. Smaller improvements have also been made to the Squad lists within myClub with other small enhancements also made.

‘The Pitch is Ours’ is the ethos that dominates PES 2015, the aim has been to recreate the drama and tension associated with a vital match. PES 2015 marks a concerted return to core PES values of total control, utterly responsive controls and unrestricted gameplay, where the user has complete control over how they play. Every pass, shot or run is finely balanced to give maximum player satisfaction within PES 2015’s on-field action.

PES 2015 is now available on PlayStation®4, Xbox One™, PlayStation®3, Xbox 360™ and Windows PC worldwide, with a free playable demo available to download. More information available at pes.konami.com.
