Golf Is Now Available In Nintendo Switch Sports Via A Free Update

Square up your shoulders and get ready to take a swing at the latest free addition to hit Nintendo Switch Sports for Nintendo Switch. A free software update is available now* that adds Golf to the lineup, bringing the number of playable sports to seven.
Hit the fairway across 21 holes from the Wii Sports series and tee up with friends in local** or online play***, or get golfing together with up to eight players in the all-new online Survival Golf mode. The player who takes the most strokes each round will be eliminated.

If you’re new to the world of Nintendo Switch Sports, Golf is just the start of the fun! You can enjoy Football (soccer), Volleyball, Bowling, Tennis, Badminton or Chambara (swordplay) as Nintendo Switch Sports lets you get moving and put yourself directly in the game using Joy-Con controllers. With various options for multiplayer fun, family and friends can join in on the same Nintendo Switch console, or by going online.

You can even personalise your Sportsmate or Mii avatar’s appearance and add accessories to capture your unique style. Earn more items by playing online in random matchmaking to change your look over time, with items being added regularly, now including new Golf gear.
