Ex-Insomniac devs’ Bermuda Triangle co-op horror extraction game ‘Wreck Runners’

Disruptive Games, a team made up of games industry veterans (including Insomniac Games and LucasArts), has announced the Bermuda Triangle co-op extraction horror game Wreck Runners for PC. Scrap, salvage and survive The Fog together in the chaotic multiplayer title, which is currently holding playtests via Steam from April 30 – May 11.

The Trustwell Corporation has an exciting work opportunity for you and your friends: they’d like to send you to the tropical, exotic and perfectly safe destination of the Bermuda Triangle! As a group of Wreck Runners, your job is to get in and get out, as safely as you can, with tons of valuable, salvaged loot in tow.

You’ll battle against physics, nature and The Fog, as the Bermuda Triangle’s ancient ruins, strange creatures, and shapeshifting environments threaten to plunge your crew into danger. There are deep secrets and mysteries to be uncovered here, if you dare.

You’ll navigate this dangerous world, armed with the powerful Scrapjack tool and your all-terrain ORCA vehicle. Use the Scrapjack to grab, throw, and fling exotic scrap to secure profits for your parent company, and navigate your way out and towards even more rewarding wrecks by piloting the ORCA.

In the Bermuda Triangle, no one can hear you scream, other than the rest of your friends on voice comms. However, even when an extraction has gone wrong, the madcap tales, hijinks, and epic mad dashes out of there will stick with you long after the mission has concluded.
