EVOLUTION SIM RACING TEAM DEBUT IN LOGITECH G’S RACE CARS THIS SATURDAY

Today, Evolution Racing Team (ERT), a Sim Racing Team sponsored by Logitech G, is excited to announce their official debut at Winton Motor Raceway on Saturday March 27, 2021.

In 2020 many racing teams, including those from Formula One began to utilise sim racing as a training avenue to keep their drivers focussed, and to sharpen their abilities.

Australian Sim Racing veterans, ERT, have decided to flip this story on its head and tackle the real world of racing as circuit racing drivers.

On March 27, that dream will become a reality with ERT racers, Ethan Grigg-Gault and Aaron Lee debuting two cars during this weekend’s Victorian State Race Series, challenging the traditional race track. The team’s Ryan O’Sullivan from Queensland will also take on the track later of this racing season.

Daniel Hall, Senior Category Portfolio Manager from Logitech ANZ said, “This has been our fifth year working with Evolution Racing Team. It is very exciting to see the team tackling the grid in the real world for the very first time, and we can’t wait for the green flag.”

The team principal of the Evolution Racing Team, Brenton O’Brien said, “Logitech G has been a great supporter of ERT for many years. With 2020 seeing so many changes, ERT is ready to challenge the normal way of thinking and start taking on the real world of motor racing. We look forward to the long journey ahead.”

Alongside the debut, Logitech G will have three interactive Logitech G Wheel Simulations set up for free-play on the day. Visitors are invited to compete in a Lap-Challenge for a chance to win Logitech G prizes. The racer with the fastest lap will take home their very own Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE Sim Racing Wheel valued at RRP $599.95 – the same wheel the ERT racers have used in training.

Evolution Racing Team will make its track debut at Winton Motor Raceway this Saturday March 27, 2021 at the Victorian State Championships. Witness this historic moment by securing your ticket at eventbrite.com.au
