Elder Scrolls Online | Spend This Weekend in Tamriel with Family and Friends in the ESO Free Play
There has never been a better time for Xbox One players to discover the award-winning online Elder Scrolls game that Game Revolution has called “the premier console MMO.” The Elder Scrolls Online has launched an extended Free Play Weekend on Xbox One, live now and running through this weekend until 28thNovember. With the recent launch of One Tamriel introducing worldwide level-scaling, this is a perfect opportunity for Xbox One ESO veterans to introduce their friends and family to Tamriel and play together over the weekend – no “alts” required.
The Xbox One Free Play Weekend is live now November and will end at 03:59pm AEDT on Monday, 28 November.
As always, there is no subscription required to play The Elder Scrolls Online. Players simply need to download the game, create an account, and begin their adventures in Tamriel. The Free Play Weekend will include:
- No Restrictions: Access to the full The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimitedbase game
- Free Crowns: 500 Crowns to spend in the Crown Store on fun costumes, unique pets, helpful scrolls, and more
- Progress Retention: Any characters created, Crown Packs purchased, or Crown Store items bought, as well as any progress made during the Free Play Weekend, will carry over if the player purchases the game
All Versions of The Elder Scrolls Online, Crowns On Sale
In celebration of the Free Play Weekend on Xbox One, Bethesda will offer discounts through 28 November on Crown Packs as well as all versions of the game. The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited base game will be discounted for several hours prior to and following the Free Play Weekend (during Free Play Weekend, Tamriel Unlimited will not be available for sale). The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition, which includes all four major DLC game packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood, will be discounted throughout the Free Play Weekend.
How to Get into the Free Play Weekend
Xbox One players should navigate to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on the Xbox Live Store to download the game. Once the game is downloaded and players have created an account, they can login and play immediately.
Grab a friend for the weekend and head out into Tamriel!
