Creative Victoria and ACMI present Fashion’s New Reality at MIGW 2021
Creative Victoria and ACMI today announced a free Creative Exchange event at Melbourne International Games Week (MIGW) 2021, Fashion’s New Reality, on Friday 8 October 2021, 2pm to 3:30pm AEDT
This event will include the outcome of the Victorian fashion industry’s Digital Fashion Incubator, as well as the global launch of luxury fashion space in the Metaverse, Semblance World, which is supported by an Epic Games Mega Grant.
The Digital Fashion Incubator will showcase the experience of seven Victorian designers as they explore what AR and VR can do for their business, as a joint initiative of Creative Victoria and leading VR/AR studio, Ignition Immersive.
Powered by Unreal Engine, Semblance World strives to empower luxury brands to create limited-time events, VIP experiences, fashion shows, gamified touchpoints, rentable virtual runways and showrooms and more for brands and consumers across the international fashion industry.
