All-new PlayStation Plus Introduces three flexible options for members
Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia has today announced changes coming to PlayStation Plus in June, introducing a new tiered system that aims to provide customers with a high-quality portfolio of diverse games.
Australian players will have access to three tiers; Playstation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Deluxe. The evolution of PlayStation Plus builds upon 25 years of expertise in gaming innovation with these changes highlighting PlayStation’s continued efforts to evolve its network services business to match customer preferences.
At launch, PlayStation plans to include titles such as Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal. Additionally, PlayStation is working closely with first and third-party partners to include some of the best gaming experiences available with a library that will be regularly refreshed.

PlayStation Plus Essential
Benefits

There are no changes for existing Playstation Plus members in this tier.

PlayStation Plus Extra

Provides all the benefits from the Essential tier

Adds a catalogue of up to 400* of the most enjoyable PS4 and PS5 games – including blockbuster hits from our PlayStation Studios catalogue and third-party partners. Gamers in the Extra tier are downloadable for play.
PlayStation Plus Deluxe
Benefits:

Provides all the benefits of Essential and Extra tiers.

Includes a catalogue of beloved classic games from the original PlayStation, PS2 and PSP generations to download and play.

Time-limited game trails will also be offered in this tier, so customers can try select games before they buy.
