The Amity Affliction Announce Exclusive Headline Show

Australian melodic metalcore mavericks THE AMITY AFFLICTION have today announced their only Australian headline show to celebrate the release of their ninth studio album House of Cards. After a huge year touring both locally and internationally, the band will perform at the iconic Sydney Opera House Forecourt as part of On The Steps in 2026. One of Australia’s most recognisable stages, it’s a fitting venue for what will be a very triumphant homecoming performance for the band.

Released last Friday, House of Cards is a testament to survival by a band stronger than ever, one that chose instinct over fear. More than two decades into their career, The Amity Affliction aren’t chasing redemption or reinvention. They’ve earned the clarity to move forward without illusion, continuing not because they have something left to prove but because they know exactly why they’re still here.

The Amity Affliction will take the stage On the Steps at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Saturday 12 December, 2026.
