SUPANOVA COMIC CON & GAMING announces the Supa-Star Guest List for GOLD COAST (11-12 April 2026) and MELBOURNE (18-19 April 2026)
Christmas has come early for Gold Coast (11-12 April 2026) and Melbourne (18-19 April 2026) Supa-Fans! Following last month’s epic conclusion to the convention’s 2025 calendar, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming has been making a list and checking it twice; unveiling their first wave of Supa-Star celebrity guests set descend down the chimney in 2026.
Supanova is doing their part, with Hollywood heavyweight Denise Richards leading next year’s announcements. With over one hundred film and television credits to her name, Richards first launched onto the big screen in the now iconic Starship Troopers, famously starring opposite Pierce Brosnan’s Bond in The World is Not Enough, and Neve Campbell in the acclaimed thriller Wild Things.
“Purge” your April schedules, as international man of action and star of The Purge series, Frank Grillo, is also set to make his debut appearance at the event. While DC and Marvel Supa-Fans may know him best as Rick Flag Sr. and Crossbones across the DCU and MCU respectively, Grillo can most recently be seen in Tulsa King, alongside fellow first-time Supa-Star Garrett Hedlund. Hedlund, who stars as Mitch Keller in the Emmy Award contender, quickly became a one-to-watch when he first lit up screens in Tron: Legacy.
Cinephiles can also look forward to meeting the incomparable Lou Diamond Phillips, star of the Golden Globe nominated biographical drama, La Bamba. Phillips later received his own nod from the Globes via his 1988 film, Stand and Deliver, and can otherwise be seen in Young Guns, Stargate Universe, and heard as The Spectre in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Making good on their promises to attend when next they could, Supanova has answered the question of “who ya gonna call?” with original Ghostbuster Ernie Hudson, and The Flash’s Rick Cosnett speeding into Melbourne and the Gold Coast. These hotly anticipated celebs are joined by returning fan-faves Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter’s Ginny Weasley), and James Marsters (Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
Animation aficionados will be spoiled for choice when the elements (and voice actors!) converge in April. Hot on the heels of the series’ 20thanniversary celebrations, fans won’t want to miss the original cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender; including Zach Tyler Eisen (Aang), Jack De Sena(Sokka), Michaela Jill Murphy a.k.a. Jessie Flower (Toph), Jennie Kwan (Suki), and Olivia Hack (Ty Lee).
If your seismic sense is tingling, it could be the return of legendary VAs Robbie Daymond and Max Mittelman, who last caught up with Supa-Fans at Sydnova and Perthnova in 2024. Daymond notably portrays Dorian Storm in the global mega-hit Critical Role, while Mittelman stars as hero-for-fun Saitama in One Punch Man, the third season of which is now streaming.
Attack on Titan leads Bryce Papenbrook and Trina Nishimura are back in their ODM gear for both cities, after a family emergency saw Nishimura needing to postpone earlier this year. The pair are joined by local vocal talent Ben Prendergast of Apex Legends and God of War: Ragnarok fame, exclusively in Melbourne.
Finally, comic collectors will have the chance to catch international industry icons Adi Granov (Iron Man: Extremis) and the one-and-only Humberto Ramos (Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four), with even more illustrious illustrators and world-class writers still to come!
