BIG Sydney Event – Celebrate 30 Years of PlayStation in Australia | Saturday, 15 November
This Saturday 15 November 2025, PlayStation Australia invites the Aussie public to celebrate thirty years of era-defining moments, groundbreaking games and unforgettable memories at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, The Rocks (NSW).
The event will feature a BIG surprise monument in true Aussie style – celebrating three decades of treasured PlayStation memories sourced from the local community & beyond, since the first PlayStation launched in Australia on 15 November, 1995.
Opening at 9 AM AEDT and running throughout the day, the first 1000 visitors will be provided with exclusive 30th Anniversary patches. Of these attendees, a select number will receive a Golden Ticket to play the Gacha Prize Machine.
Prizes in the Gacha Prize Machine include:
- PlayStation®5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
- PlayStation®5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle

Visitors can also compete in an ASTRO BOT speed run competition, with the top times set on the day receiving ASTRO BOT prizes including DualSense® Wireless Controller – ASTRO BOT™ Joyful Limited Edition & ASTRO BOT Plush Cushion.
