NINTENDO SWITCH 2 MAKES ITS PAX AUS DEBUT

Today, Nintendo Australia announced its line-up for PAX AUS 2025 featuring numerous titles for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. For the first time in Australia, attendees can explore Lumiose City in Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition ahead of its release on 16^th October. Fans can also charge, boost and spin their way to victory with the fast-paced vehicle action game Kirby Air Riders, launching on 20^th November.

Additionally, players can enjoy a demo for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and experience Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. The booth will also showcase Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades II, and various other third party titles for Nintendo Switch 2.

Here are some of the games attendees can look forward to checking out on the Nintendo booth at PAX AUS 2025:

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: A new adventure in Lumiose City awaits! Pokémon Legends: Z-A introduces new, dynamic battles in real time, and brings back Mega Evolution to shift the odds of victory. At PAX AUS 2025, players can try their hand at exciting battles that take place in real time for the first time.
Kirby Air Riders: Pick your rider, pick your machine, and mount up for competition! At PAX AUS 2025, players can zip around Skyah with 15 other opponents in City Trial. Each machine handles differently, and each rider has their own set of stats and Specials, so make sure to try out different combinations!
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment: Experience the epic battles of the Imprisoning War first-hand as Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and Mineru in Hyrule’s past.
Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2: Check out a demo for the soon-to-be-released Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2! With improved user interface and enhanced resolution, players can take Mario into outer space and explore out-of-this-world locations as part of the PAX AUS 2025 demo.
Mario Kart World: For the first time in the Mario Kart series, race friends across a sprawling, interconnected world of courses. Throughout the event, attendees can take to the track in Mario Kart World, barrelling through back-to-back courses and checkpoints in Knockout Tour to see who will be the last one standing. Participation prizes will be available for everyone who joins the fun but those who take 1^st place in their rally will also be eligible to participate in a final daily Knockout Tour race for a prize. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition: One of the greatest bounty hunters in the galaxy returns. At PAX AUS 2025, players can get hands-on with a demo that sees Samus arriving at a Federation Research Facility that’s under attack. Players can choose and swap between mouse controls and button controls at any time.
