BEYBLADE X National Tournament Wraps as Aussie Champions Head to Tokyo
The BEYBLADE X World Championship tournament made its mark in Australia over the weekend, as fans and competitors gathered at Westfield Parramatta for two action-packed days of battles and bladers. Hosted by much-loved MC and TV personality Cameron Merchant, the crowd was buzzing with excitement, packing all three levels of the centre to cheer on competitors.
The event saw an impressive turnout, engaging families and fans, with over 480 registered competitors across the two age divisions.
Saturday, June 28: 13+ Division

Sunday, June 29: 8–12 Division
- Registrations: 155
- Winner: Thomas Nilam
- Age: 9
- Location: Sydney, NSW
- Winning Combination: Keel Shark 3-60 Low Rush
Both Taylor and Thomas will now go on to represent Australia at the BEYBLADE X World Finals in Tokyo, taking place at Tokyo Tower on October 11–12, 2025. They’ll join a group of international bladers in hopes of winning the ultimate championship.
From high-energy matches to the latest Beyblade X gear, the tournament didn’t just showcase skill, but sportsmanship and the global passion for spinning battles. With the crowd engagement stretching across Westfield Parramatta, the event was an enormous success and an unforgettable experience for Beyblade fans across the country.
