Xiaomi Brings Titan Toughness to Australia With the New Redmi Note 15 Series
Xiaomi Australia is kicking off 2026 with a major announcement, confirming that the Redmi Note 15 Series is officially landing on Australian shores. Built around the idea of “Titan Toughness”, the new lineup promises durability, long-term reliability and flagship‑level features at prices that stay firmly in the mid‑range sweet spot.
The series launches with three models:
Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro, and the top‑tier Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G: The Hero of the Lineup
Xiaomi’s Pro+ model is clearly designed to impress, packing in hardware that pushes well beyond what you’d expect at this price point.
The headline feature is its 6,500mAh Silicon‑Carbon battery, paired with 100W HyperCharge that can take the phone from flat to full in just 40 minutes. It even supports 22.5W Reverse Fast Charging, turning the phone into a power bank when you need it most. Xiaomi claims the battery retains at least 80% capacity after 1,600 charging cycles, which works out to roughly six years of everyday use.
Durability is a major focus this generation. The Pro+ is built around a Titan Structure with a certified 2.5‑metre drop resistance, reinforced mid‑frame, high‑strength motherboard and Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2 protecting the display. It’s a phone designed to survive real life, not just look good in a press render.
Photography gets a serious upgrade too. The Pro+ debuts Xiaomi’s 4th‑gen 200MP main camera, featuring a new 1/1.4″ large sensor and the flagship 200MP HPE sensor. Expect improved HDR, AI‑powered enhancements and dual optical‑level telephoto for more flexibility when shooting.
On the front, the phone features a 6.83” curved display with FIAA ultra‑narrow bezel technology, delivering a clean, almost borderless viewing experience that feels far more premium than the price tag suggests.
Pricing, Availability and Launch Offers
The Redmi Note 15 Series is open for Registers of Interest from 15–21 January at mi.com/au, with official sales beginning 22 January.
Australian pricing is as follows:
- Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G – $799 AUD
- Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G – $699 AUD
- Redmi Note 15 5G – $599 AUD
- Introductory offer: $499 until 11 February
To sweeten the deal, Xiaomi is offering a free Redmi Pad 2 (valued at $349) with all orders of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G or Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G placed before 11 February.
