WWE 2K26 Rolls Toward WrestleMania 42 With Major Updates, Rewards, and Patch 1.07

The Road to WrestleMania 42 is heating up, and WWE 2K26 is marking the occasion with a wave of updates, rewards, and gameplay improvements designed to celebrate the legacy of “The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment.” As fans revisit iconic WrestleMania moments, 2K is giving players new ways to catch up, compete, and create their own show-stealing highlights.

Ringside Pass Rewards Ahead of Season 2

To help players gear up for the launch of Ringside Pass Season 2 on April 15, 2K is rolling out a generous set of bonuses and adjustments that make progression more accessible than ever.

Key rewards and changes

  • 20 tiers of RXP for Season 1 will be granted to all current and future players. The RXP will appear within 24 hours of logging in.
  • 20 tiers of RXP for Season 2 will be awarded to anyone who has installed the game, linked a 2K account, and played before April 15, 2026, at 4:59 PM AEDT.
  • RXP per tier is dropping from 800 to 625 starting with Season 2, and this lower requirement will remain for all future Seasons.
  • RXP Boost consumables are being strengthened, making them more impactful during progression.

A major structural change is also arriving with Season 2: All four DLC characters included in future Ringside Pass Premium Seasons will now be available immediately at Tier 1, ready to unlock as soon as each Season begins.

Patch 1.07 Brings Gameplay Refinements and New Content

Alongside the Season updates, Patch 1.07 is now live across all platforms, delivering a broad suite of improvements, balance tweaks, and fresh content.

Gameplay adjustments

  • Stamina Meter tuning
    • Stamina drains more gradually over the course of a match, reducing early Winded states.
    • Reversals cost less stamina when facing multiple opponents.
  • Referee interaction improvements
    • The damage threshold for triggering an instant disqualification when striking a referee has been increased.

New moves added

  • Chelsea Green’s Cradle Flatliner
  • Blake Monroe’s Glamour Shot Finisher

Mode and feature enhancements

  • The Island
    • Players can now Prestige directly from the Training menu.
    • A limited-time 2x VC event for PvP matches runs from March 30 to April 15.
  • Creation Suite, Universe, MyFACTION, MyRISE, and additional Island updates round out the patch, with full details available in the official patch notes.

A Community-Focused Update for the WrestleMania Season

These changes reflect ongoing community feedback and the team’s commitment to refining WWE 2K26 as players head toward the biggest event of the year. With streamlined progression, new moves, and quality-of-life improvements across multiple modes, the update aims to make the final stretch to WrestleMania 42 more rewarding and more exciting.

The Show Never Stops—and with these updates, neither will the action.
