ACTIVISION NAMES BEN GRAETZ SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF ASIA PACIFIC PUBLISHING

Sydney, Australia – December 6th, 2010 – Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) today announced the appointment of Ben Graetz as Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific Publishing, where he will drive the company’s strategy and growth initiatives for the region. 

Mr. Graetz brings a wealth of experience in the Information Technology and Entertainment industries in Australia, the United States and Asia Pacific. Based in Sydney, Australia, Mr. Graetz will report to Brian Hodous, Chief Customer Officer of Activision Blizzard.

“We are delighted to welcome a professional of Ben’s calibre to Activision,” said Brian Hodous.  “Ben will be a tremendous asset to the business with over 20 years of experience in international management, strategy, business development and sales and marketing, and his appointment reflects Activision’s commitment to the Asia Pacific region.”

Prior to joining Activision, Mr. Graetz was the Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division for Asia Pacific. In this role he was responsible for defining the product and business strategy for the region, as well as overseeing marketing, sales, business development and supply chain.

“I’m thrilled to join the Activision business at such an exciting time,” said Mr. Graetz. “This is a region with tremendous potential, and I look forward to continuing to build our leading position in Australia and New Zealand as well as expanding our efforts in Asia.”

Mr. Graetz replaces Philip Earl who has moved to Santa Monica, California, to head Activision’s global Call of Duty business unit.
