ASUS powers down the runway in Australia’s biggest male fashion show

Sydney, Australia, September 5 2008 – Global technology innovators ASUS and Intel will be the major centrepieces at The Ultimate Men’s Runway Show as part of this year’s 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty.

The first large-scale, menswear only show ever to be staged in Australia, The Ultimate Men’s Runway Show will parade local and international designers. Complementing this great fashion spectacle, the show will also incorporate the latest in computing from ASUS and Intel, highlighting the quintessential man of style on-the-go.

Showcasing nine major fashion brands, top designers will join forces with the leading ACP Magazines male mastheads in the country, Men’s Style, FHM and Ralph. Selected notebooks from ASUS – powered by Intel processor technology – that embody elegance and represent fashion without forgoing functionality will be introduced by high profile personalities at the exclusive event including:

– VX3 (Men’s Style) – Take computing for a digital sports drive with the ASUS Lamborghini VX3 notebook and feel high power performance.

– U6V (FHM) – A marvellous jewel with stunning high shine and shimmer, the ASUS U6V is ideal for the on-the-go style star.

– M50 (Ralph) – Experience entertainment like never before on the ASUS M50 multimedia notebook with revolutionary digital technology.

The event so far has also attracted a large gathering of male models at the casting call eager to take part in the show. Taking a shot at fame in the male modelling world, a horde of hot, young guys turned out at the auditions with only 50 shortlisted – with only 30 to be chosen.
