Based on the book Shopping, Seduction and Mr Selfridge, this brand new drama follows the life of Harry and his magnificent department store, Selfridges, as he challenges the rules of retail. Set in 1909, the series follows a colourful cast played by Piven as Harry, Katherine Kelly (Coronation Street, Life on Mars) as the confident and alluring socialite Lady Mae, Frances O’Connor (Piccadilly Jim, A.I) as Harry’s wife Rose, and Zoe Tapper (Desperate Romantics) as Miss Ellen Love, who soon becomes the apple of Harry’s eye.
