SYDNEY, Australia, July 17, 2013 — Samsung Electronics Australia today announced the local availability of the GALAXY Tab 3 range. Featuring a selection of sizes in 10.1-inch, 8-inch and 7-inch variants, the latest additions to the successful GALAXY Tab family ensures Samsung continues catering to the diverse needs of Australians.

GALAXY Tab 3 represents another phase in the company’s evolution as an innovator in mobile technology by offering Australians great product choice to better suit their lifestyle, diverse features and local and international content. The range will offer users enhanced and intuitive design features created to support the growing demand for tablets in Australia.

From May 2012 to May 2013, Samsung has achieved over seven times market share growth across Samsung GALAXY tablets in Australia1, with the GALAXY Tab 2 becoming one of the most successful tablet ranges for Samsung in Australia.

Pricing and Availability

The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 range will launch in Wi-Fi with 4G variants planned in comings months, and is available for pre-sale on 18 July at the Melbourne and Sydney Samsung Experience Stores. The range will soon be available through major Samsung retail partners with RRPs of:
