Lenovo ThinkCentre M93/M93p Desktop Arrives in Australia

Advances in compact PC technology and a SSD enable 50 percent less power consumption

Sydney, Australia – 13 June, 2013: Last night at Intel’s launch of the 4th Generation Intel® Core™ processor family, Lenovo unveiled the latest in its ThinkCentre desktop series, the M93p. Designed to deliver outstanding performance and manageability for all types of business, the M93p series comes equipped with the latest Intel® Core i7 processors, and Intel® vPro, optional solid state or solid state hybrid hard drives for extreme computing. The M93p series ThinkCentre is available in three form factors –Small Form Factor (11 litres), Tiny (1 litre) and Tower (25 litres).

As well as the latest Intel® Core i7 processors, the M93p is the first of the ThinkCentre series to include a small solid state hard drive, boosting system performance to new extremes. With no moving mechanical components such as spinning disks, the SSD enables further space and power savings. The Small Form Factor has the expandability and functionality of a tower at just 50 percent the size, whilst the Tiny form factor is as compact as a golf ball.

“Today’s business users require energy efficient, reliable, high performing desktop solutions that ultimately enable them to deliver greater value to their business’ triple bottom line” said Matt Codrington, Managing Director of Lenovo ANZ.

“Today more than ever businesses are concerned with issues such as sustainability and reliable data storage at low cost. The M93p is a perfect example of innovation in processor and storage technology to drive down energy consumption without compromising the PC+ experience.”

The ThinkCentre M93p also includes discrete graphics up to NVIDIA Quadro® 410 for multimedia power users for the Tower and SFF form factors. Business data is further protected on the M93p with a Trusted Platform module (TPM) security chip and RAID 0.1 providing strong, dependable hardware-based security.

The M93p comes with a range of accessories, including a ThinkVision LT2323z Monitor, ultra slim Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, ThinkCentre Tiny L-Bracket Mounting Kit, and ThinkCentre Tiny Storage Unit.

Gold Standard for Green

The ThinkCentre M93p desktop has been awarded multiple certifications for energy efficiency and environmental considerations, including ENERGY STAR® 5.2 compliance, UL Environment Gold rating, and EPEAT® Gold.
