Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing Great Expectations on Blu-ray, DVD and UltraViolet from July 4, 2013.

Directed by BAFTA® Award-winning Mike Newell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Great Expectations is a stunning re-telling of a classic tale.  Adapted from Charles Dickens’ novel of the same name, the film is a beautiful and dynamic homage to Dickens’ iconic narrative.

The vivacious cast, including Helena Bonham-Carter (Les Miserables, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), Ralph Fiennes (Skyfall, The Harry Potter film series), Jeremy Irvine (War Horse, Now is Good), Holliday Grainger (Anna Karenina, The Borgias), Robbie Coltrane (Arthur Christmas, The Harry Potter film series) and David Walliams (TV’s Little Britain, Stardust), work flawlessly together to bring Dickens’ words to life.
