The event will be a high-octane flurry of non-stop fun for avid and novice gamers of all ages enjoying a range of games including a ‘noob celebrity challenge’, a retro gaming challenge, and a blindfolded gaming competition.

WHERE:

EB Games Store, 67 Swanston Street, Melbourne

WHEN: 12pm Thursday, 2 May – 1pm Friday 3 May

Starlight CEO, Louise Baxter said: “All funds raised will help secure the future of much needed programs including Starlight Express Rooms, Livewire.org.au and Starlight’s Wish Granting Program, which will grant its 8000th life changing wish this year.”

Gamers and supporters who can’t make it to the gaming challenge can stream the entire event live at www.twitchtv/ebgamesaus.

The 25 hour Challenge will run from 12pm Thursday, 2 May until 1pm Friday, 3 May.

Starlight Day is the charity’s biggest annual national fundraiser and this year, Starlight is celebrating 25 years of transforming the experience of hospitalisation for seriously ill children around Australia.

EB Games is exclusively partnered with Starlight to help bring a little joy and happiness to sick kids around Australia.

More than 2,500 volunteers will hit the streets on Friday 3 May to raise much-needed funds to help Starlight ‘Shine On’ for another 25 years and continue supporting seriously ill children and their families into the future.
