Sea Rex 3D

Get ready for a face to face encounter with prehistoric giants of the deep in Sea Rex 3D. Join Julie, an imaginative young woman, as she travels from a modern-day aquarium through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Explore an amazing underwater universe inhabited by larger-than-life creatures including the powerful Liopleurodon, long-necked Elasmosaurus and gigantic Shonisaurus which were ruling the seas long before dinosaurs conquered the earth. Tron Legacy: The IMAX 3D Experience Re-release

Re-live this stunning high-tech 3D blockbuster, Tron: Legacy in IMAX 3D. Sam Flynn the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Quorra, father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

Tron: Legacy 3D special event screening with guest star Bruce Boxleitner

To celebrate the IMAX re-release of Tron: Legacy 3D, IMAX Melbourne Museum and Armageddon Expo 2012 are proud to announce Tron star, Bruce Boxleitner will be appearing at a special event screening on Friday 12 October, 2012 at 6:30pm. Sci-fi fans will get the opportunity to take part in an exclusive question and answer session with Boxleitner before re-living the stunning high-tech 3D blockbuster, Tron: Legacy on the world’s third largest screen. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – The IMAX 3D Experience

From Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson comes The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey 3D, the first of a three part trilogy adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien. The second film, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released on 26 December 2013 and the third, The Hobbit: There And Back Again on 18 JULY, 2014. The trilogy is set in Middle-Earth, 60 years before The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of 13 dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakenshield.
