Sydney’s IMAX theatre to be the setting for the ‘Largest screen used in a videogame tournament’
Sydney, Australia – 7th September 2012 – NAMCO BANDAI Partners today announced they will attempt to set a World Record for ‘Largest screen used in a videogame tournament’, as officially recognised by Guinness World Records TM. The world record attempt will occur on Tuesday 11th September, 2012 at the IMAX theatre in Sydney, Australia involving some 400 IGN community members as they fight off for a spot in the European championships.
TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 will be available for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in Australia and New Zealand on September 13, 2012.
