Sydney, Australia. – Monday, June 15th, 2009 – Electronic Arts INC. (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that Billy ‘The Kid’ Dib, of Australia, will join the greatest boxers of all time in EA SPORTS Fight Night Round 4 being developed for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. 

Dib, a rising superstar on the international boxing scene, uses his lightening hands to put opponents on the canvas and has already fought his way to a world title belt, IBO Super Featherweight Champion, all at the impressive age of 22.

 

“Being in Fight Night Round 4 is a very proud moment for my family and I. Just to be selected alongside some of the greatest boxers in history who are heroes of mine is tremendous honour,” said Dib. “I’m really proud that my younger brother and nieces can all say to the kids at school that their brother is in a game; that’s sensational!”

 

The addition of Australia’s hometown hero ‘The Kid’ to Fight Night Round 4 is sure to get gamers pumping as  they are  now able to take control of Billy’s speed, precision and power when  they step into the ring against the other boxers in the game.

 

Promising to revolutionize the fighting genre, Fight Night Round 4 features an all new physics based gameplay engine that brings an authentic interpretation to the videogame world.
