Win a trip to New York Comic Con with Oz Comic-Con!
Oz Comic-Con Perth and Adelaide are fast approaching and tickets have just gone on sale. To help celebrate, Oz Comic-Con is giving away a trip to pop culture paradise – New York Comic Con! The prize includes return flights for two to New York City, two VIP passes for all four days of NYCC (October 9-12, 2014) and six nights accommodation. Entry into the competition is simple, as anyone who pre-purchases tickets through the Oz Comic-Con website will automatically be entered into the draw to win the trip of their geeky dreams!
The prize comes thanks to Oz Comic-Con and ReedPOP, the company that produces New York Comic Con and other international events such as C2E2, Star Wars Celebration and Penny Arcade Expo (PAX Prime, PAX East and PAX Australia). Earlier this month, Oz Comic-Con and ReedPOP announced an exciting new partnership that will mean big things for the Australian pop culture industry. It’s an enterprise that will give fans access to an even wider range of top-tier international talent, present new opportunities and support to local artists and businesses and reposition Australia as a not-to-be-overlooked presence in the world-wide pop culture sphere.
Oz Comic-Con will be held in Perth on March 29-30 at the Perth Exhibition Centre and in Adelaide on April 5-6 at the Adelaide Showgrounds. While tickets will also be available for purchase at the door, purchasing tickets online in advance allows attendees to save time and money, with the added bonus of them being placed in the running to win the ultimate NYCC experience.
A fantastic line-up of film, TV, comic book and publishing guests will be present at the Perth and Adelaide Oz Comic-Con events, including Doctor Who star Billie Piper, Shannen Doherty from Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210 and sci-fi queen Amanda Tapping, known for her roles in Stargate SG1 and Sanctuary.
Plus, for the first time, exclusive Oz Comic-Con merchandise is also on sale ahead of the event. The merchandise, which includes hoodies, caps, t-shirts, and tote bags, is available as an option when pre-purchasing tickets, and can be collected at the conventions.
