Wargaming Teams Up with War Child during Holiday Season
Proceeds from World of Tanks on Console bundle will go directly to the charity
December 13, 2016 — Wargaming is proud to announce its partnership with War Child during this holiday season. War Child is an organization that is dedicated to assisting children who suffer in conflict areas. The charity protects children around the world by providing them safety, education and ensuring their rights are respected. Starting today, gamers can support War Child with Wargaming, by purchasing the “For the Children Bundle” in World of Tanks on Console.
The limited time “For the Children Bundle” will be available starting today and through January 1, 2017, on PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. The bundle which can be purchased multiple times, includes massive Crew and Experience boosts, along with large and small first aid kits. All proceeds from the bundle will be directly donated to War Child.
“War Child strives for a world where children’s lives are no longer torn apart by war,” said Rob Williams, CEO of War Child. “Support from Wargaming with the ‘For the Children Bundle’ across the Xbox 360, Xbox One & PlayStation 4 versions of World of Tanks will help us reach even more children and stay to support them through their recovery by keeping them safe, providing the chance to get an education and giving them hope for the future.”
“Wargaming is humbled to be working closely with an organization that provides this level of support for families that have suffered,” said TJ Wagner, Executive Producer. Our hope is to help spread the word of War Child and the incredible work they do, and through our game, assist in providing aid to children and their families around the world.”
