Ubisoft® Partners with IMG Worlds to Create the World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park

WHAT: “As part of our strategy to expand our video game brands into other forms of entertainment, Ubisoft is thrilled to partner with IMG Worlds, owner of the world’s largest indoor theme park, to bring our game franchises to life in the fast-growing tourist destination of Dubai”, says Jean de-Rivières, Vice President, Location-Based Entertainment, Ubisoft Motion Pictures. “By joining IMG Worlds of Legends, Ubisoft will introduce its world-renowned brands Assassin’s Creed®, Just Dance® and Raving Rabbids® to new audiences while creating new ways for fans to interact with their favorite game franchises”.

WHO: IMG Worlds is a Dubai-based owner and operator of the world’s largest indoor theme park, IMG Worlds of Adventure encompassing IMG Worlds of Adventure and IMG Worlds of Legends.

WHY: It is part of our strategy to expand our video game brands into other forms of entertainment such as theme parks. Our game lineup is one of the most diverse in the video game industry and it generates opportunities for us to reach a wide audience as well as guaranteeing great variety when building a theme park. Our games bridge generation gaps and we will benefit from that to develop high-quality experiences for all ages.

WHEN: Opening to be announced at a later date

WHERE: IMG Worlds of Legends is located in the heart of Dubai, a fast-growing tourist destination. IMG Worlds of Legends is the second project being developed by IMG Worlds. With nine zones spread across more than 2 million square feet, IMG Worlds of Legends will feature multiple world-renowned franchises, including Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance and Raving Rabbids.
