TWILIGHT AT TARONGA 2026 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
Nothing says summer more than watching the epic line-up of artists at the annual Twilight at Taronga Summer Concert Series, and with this year’s support acts just announced it makes it even more enticing to be there! Alongside some of Australia’s most-loved headliners, audiences will also have the chance to discover the very best in rising local talent, with support artists taking to the stage to showcase their original work in one of the country’s most iconic live music settings.
Starting the series off on Friday February 6 will be Didirri and Rowena Wise opening for The Paper Kites. Prepare for an evening of intimate storytelling, soaring harmonies, and sublime musical alchemy as Didirri and Rowena Wise perform with their magical synergy before the indie-folk-rock of The Paper Kites.
They will be followed on Saturday February 7 by the lush indie-pop sounds of Wiles, who will open for the double header of pysch-folk masters Cloud Control and R&B-infused rock mavens The Preatures. A prolific presence in the Sydney band scene as a member of Mega Faüna, Skeleten and Flowertruck, Wiles (otherwise known as Sydney based artist Ellen Fitzgibbon) is the portal to Fitzgibbon’s own sonic world of oozy, flowy synths, hooky melodies and chorus-drenched guitar.
Supporting the country-blues-folk infusion of Sons of the East on Thursday February 12, and their sold out show on Friday February 13, will be Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys. Offering an intoxicating blend of Americana and country soul it will be an evening of dancing, storytelling, and pure joy under the stars.
Xavier Rudd fans at all three shows (Friday February 20 – sold out, Saturday February 21 – sold out and Sunday February 22) will get to experience a special moment as Xavier’s son Finojet supports. Sharing the family connection through rhythm, spirit and song, Finojet’s live shows are immersive and infectiously energetic experiences, filled with multi-instrumental mastery and profound musical versatility that is sure to leave you wanting more.
Bringing the musical muscle to the alternative rock of The Rubens show on Thursday February 26 are two support acts – Joe Mungovan and Father’s Favourite. A multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer, Joe Mungovan creates music that is always bound to his first love of rhythm but blends his knack for catchy melodies and rich storytelling all in a measure of groove-based indie-rock. While opening the night are Father’s Favourite, a folk-rock band who use their spellbinding harmonies to spirit their audience away to the fancy-free, bohemian era of the 60s/70s rock’n’roll scene.
Opening for award-winning singer-songwriter Vera Blue on Friday February 27 will be Holly Hebe, a singer, songwriter, and producer, who blends piano-driven melodies and poetic lyrics into celestial, dreamy pop that nods to Clairo, Mallrat, and Oklou.
Supporting Marlon Williams on Thursday March 5 is Kee’ahn – a Kuku, Yalanji, Jirrbal, Torres Strait Islander songwriter and performer from North Queensland. Kee’ahn’s soulful music will bring a transformative presence to Twilight at Taronga, an evening where soul, storytelling, and the harbour landscape coalesce into a night of pure magic.
Bliss n Eso’s Friday March 6 show of party-rockin’ energy will be supported by DEVAURA. A versatile artist with a background in both singing and rapping, DEVAURA’s live set is a seamless transition between beats, punk-influenced guitar and drums, and powerful vocals, combined with her magnetic stage presence.
In addition, there are tickets still available for kids superstar Emma Memma at her Lil’ Twilight show on Saturday February 7 at 10am, the Valentine’s Day Classic Hits Live show on February 14 featuring Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Wendy Matthews, MI-SEX and V.Spy V.Spy, and the second Dope Lemon show on Sunday March 1 (the first Dope Lemon show on Saturday February 28 is sold out).
Tickets are available from twilightattaronga.org.au with proceeds contributing to Taronga Zoo’s new Wildlife Hospital.
Annual favourites Bjorn Again have again sold out their ABBA endorsed tribute show which closes the series on Saturday March 7.
All ticket sales, and add-ons, contribute to Taronga’s ongoing work in wildlife conservation.
Now is the time to buy for an unforgettable night out that can be enhanced with add-ons like a Grazing Box, Chillazy Chair, Picnic Rug, same day Zoo entry or even an overnight stay with a Retreat Package.
‘I Need a Little Extra’ VIP tickets have now sold out for all but two shows: Cloud Control & The Preatures on Saturday 7 February and Dope Lemon on Sunday 1 March. The I Need a Little Extra package includes a Twilight at Taronga concert ticket with a reserved VIP seat in a designated premium viewing area, in-seat table service for snacks and beverages, and same-day entry to Taronga Zoo — delivering a seamless, elevated concert experience from start to finish.
